My name is James McDonald also Known as Captain Wizard. I am learning photography slowly but surely. I am a student at Bath Spa University studying Music Technology and am also hopeing to do a course in journalism soon. I am in love with the city i live in - Bath UK and hope to spend many happy years here. My photography will end up being Computer still life based, abstract and portraits of people once i learn some more skills. I use a Canon EOS 1000D with either a EFS 18-55 or Tamron 70-300 lenses. I am a diehard PC user, using either windows or Linux. For my photo work I also use Adobe Lightroom.

Broken History Part 2

Today i added the next chapter in Broken History - 1987 the rise of the NES. This was when Nintendo were in the hearts of all gamers rather than pushing to the narrowed audience. This wasn't however my first experience of gaming but is where my fondest memories lie. The photo's I uploaded were the best few out of the my final 22 developed shots. As usual i used Light Room 2 under Windows 7 and used a Canon 1000D with EFs 18-55 lens.

This machine is the same age as me so i give it a lot of respect.

thanks it was just a calibration photo for an experiment i was doing about 2 years ago, I only recently realised it might look cool.
